Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana holds “Cool, I Can Cook” program

The Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana held their “Cool, I Can Cook” educational program on Saturday.

Participants learned the basics of cooking as a way to increase their independence at home and within the community.

The program follows a cooking by a color method to use with measuring and cutting boards.

And participants even got their very own chef apron and measuring utensils for taking part in the program.
