Lafayette Police arrest juvenile in shooting that left man in critical condition

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Police say they arrested a juvenile last night in the shooting that sent a man to the hospital in critical condition.

Cpl. Karl Ratcliff said the 16-year-old suspect was charged with attempted-second degree murder.

The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Himbola Manor Apartment.

The 18-year-old victim was shot multiple times and remains in critical condition, according to Ratcliff.
